Long time since i even post uh?haha in actual fact i wants to make use of this post to sincerely apologise to each and every of my dearest batchmates, probably you all have notice, i have changed, in what ways i don't wish to say. I am just clear that i have made quite a number of you all uncomfortable with my presence, especially Amanda when you have to endure my scary looks everday uh?since you are my partner secretary. Therefore i hope this batch will really accept my apology and forgive me for whatever i have done wrong. I will reflect on myself and definitely make sure that this kind of character changes in me won't happen again. Of course i am not the weikang i am used to be this period of the time, i promise you that this cheerful weikang that you all used to know will be back once and for all leading and devoting to this batch. i hope that you all will grant me your forgiveness. Details: Sell food and stuff during recess to raise funds for victims of the Haiti Earthquake.

Just to highlight or refresh you guys' mind again;
Today on SC teachers' meeting:
Mdm Yu is our new SC teacher cause Ms Ng has been transferred to CO:( But let's welcome Mdm Yu!:) Then Mr Tan highlighted the focus of the year:
- POU (it's P.O.U not "POH" lol :D)
Lol, POU stands for "Personal One Up". Meaning that we as councilors have be one level up better than the rest of the school. Be it in terms of studies, CCA or character. And then, he said we have to be good in character, good in studies, then you focus on CCA then we can talk about council :) Thus, in CCA, he wants us to hold key leadership/ leadership key positions. Oh. Wow. Okay. :)
- Council Unity
Well, for council unity, each of the batch have to be united before we can unite as a council. So start off with a single step to success shall we?:)

Hello my beloved ahoyset again! ;P (ps, thats how I always start. ;X)So anyway, Agnes and I would like to apologise again for everything, about the handphone thing. Yeah, so sorry, for tarnishing the reputation of the councillors and everything. Sorry if we affected you in anyway. ;)
Oh, and we have to remind you that the handphones must be switched off during curriculum hours, and if it is caught on during lessons, then the next councillor caught will be really in great trouble, trust me. Like the handphone will only be returned at the end of the year. Do it not because you need to, but because you want to - reflects on who you are as a person.
And through this really long and horrible (;X) experience, we learnt things that cant be conveyed through plain words, so I hope you remember what we said. Erm, that one person's action can cause the whole reputation of the student councillor. And that how our actions reflect on who we are as a person. So, we really want you all to not make this mistake again, because we've been through alot. ;D
So do remember, and again sorry.

The following post is the discussion that Ric, Fadillah, Jiatong, Peiling, Iyadh and Amanda had discussed at Mac =D, basically its just a 'take note' list we have listed down for Day 2 Orientation! ;)
Problem 1:What if they are lost?
Solution Alpha: You could use the buddy system suggested by Sean =)
Solution Beta: Tell the Sec 1s beforehand to gather @ the canteen if they are lost. (Hall possible too)
Why gather at the canteen? Cos the canteen is a big area! =D
Problem 2:What if they are not enthrusiastic enough?
Solution Alpha: Teach them fast-paced cheers that catches their attention (etc: kepapa,fever, warfront, super solid)
Solution Beta: Class facilitators must talk to them as frequent as possible, not only as a whole class but also as indivduals ;)
Problem 3: Attitude problem? O.O (OMG)
Solution Alpha: Try to talk to them as nicely and gently as possible
Solution Beta: Make sure they know your the senior and make them respect you
Solution Charlie: Worse come to worse... Scold them and wake them up... But apologise after that =)
Problem 4: Dehydration?
Solution Alpha: Get along your water bottles! =D
Solution Beta: Bring them to the water cooler after each game =) (frequency could be decided)
Problem 5: Classes not in 2?
Solution Alpha: Form formation to block them =D (ETC: one councillor at front, 2 on each sides and 1 at the back)
Notes: Shouting and screaming won't help
Problem 6: Miscommunications between walkie to walkie?
Solution Alpha: Simple plan, just don't tok craps into the walkie =D
Problem 7: Confusions between 'man power' during JSS Treasure
Solution Alpha: Arrange your role and decide which councillor to follow which group =)

Yeah, so after the talk given by our seniors so I think we ought to have some visions and aims set for ourselves. Thus, as a batch, can we have an aim for these coming 2 more days of Orientation?
Like WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE as a BATCH . Cause one of the points pointed out by seniors was about our passion, our unity. Yeah I do sort of agree that we're losing the passion.. I admit that I am one of those 'inunited' ones, like always talking to some people only. However, back to the point (don't digress!), maybe we can have goals like:
- Finding problems and NOT FAULT with one another;
Address the problem and find a solution, you can always solve a problem with a solution. Make use of problems as a platform for you to use your gift to think on HOW to solve a solution.
Maybe ask yourself the 4W1H questions then you can find out where went wrong (:
Hence, TAH-DAH! We can then all improve on the next BIG THING + EXPERIENCE (:
- Maintain and always adhere to the discipline standards
Yeahhh, we as Student Councilors are chosen because we have the potential and the fundamental disciplines that we can adhere to. So why is it that we are starting to fall?
SO... Let us all find the rope that'll save us from the falling off the cliff!
Basic solutions like setting rules for us that we can all adhere to is something we can try. But most importantly and basically is those like no folding of skirts, no dyeing of hair, slope, no sideburns, red/navyblue/ black clips or hair accessories blah blah and blah..
We've heard all these regulations for umpteen times SO CAN WE DO IT TOGETHER?
It's possible, we are all in this together (<-- I know the song! From HSM :D) thus we should not all bring down the standard of the batch.
- Have fun through work!
OH YEAH! Have fun through work meaning you know when to have fun and when to get serious. Okay imagine you're cooking something then you're in dull spirits, then the food you cook won't be tantalizing cause it's bland and yucky! :S So keep yourself in high spirits at all times (cause there are no lessons for the first 3 days :P) if not Ahoyset will be always there for you (: That is what batchmates are for.
To end off, we have all received our new posts (byebye to EDCC :'( = no more screaming! :( maybe I'll still scream for the sake of I-love-to-scream) and good luck!

just want to summarize everything about the treasurer thingy before giving Fatt Rui and Syazana the batch money.(Fatt Rui and Syazana, endure a while horh..we settle our things before giving you the money)
Why do we have lesser money in batch? Cause i don't really think that Iyadh 'ate up' our money...I remembered that Septimo gave us the money and it is $92.65, then we collect our batch fund for two months-$4. But some of us from our batch didn't pay us the fund so total up is below $200...
Then we give Caroline and Wei Jun $100 plus for EDCC Badge. And also( i just realized something), i used some of the money to Xue Jing for the White Long Sleeve cause some of you have ordered the White Long Sleeve but did not pay her the right amount, and so i gave her some of her money for temporally till some of you can pay her. When some of your money is with her, I forgotten about the money so i just count the left over in our batch money($22.65) But when Xue Jing return the money to me, it's exactly what we have left after we gave it to the EDCC for the badge..
So what I'm wanted to say is, please forget what you have suspected in our batch or who you hate in our batch and start anew. Kay?
But before starting anew, can you pay $3.25 to Iyadh and me during assembly tomorrow. Very sorry for all of you to pay such a large amount of money (especially Fadillah, Ric, Hao yang and Sharnie) cause we need to deal all of the things before giving it to Fatt Rui and Syazana. And i hope Syazana and Fatt Rui will not to be as careless as Iyadh and me.. so.. Please remember to bring the money to Iyadh and me tomorrow hor...Latest by tomorrow afternoon. And those who pay me $13 do not have to pay $3.25 for the rest of the week(this month only).. If you all have any question for this can sms me. Jia You for these two days of Orientation:D

The money issue seemed to have been brought up again, and the problem seem to be lost money from the BATCH fund like people never pay, not sure who had paid and stuff alike, now most ahoy settians are at McDonald probably trying to find the best solution so just leave it to that.
THIRDLY
People are starting to complain that we as Councillors should not even fund the Batch or Council and i partly agree with it as i kinda thought through it and its like illogical? So i heard ideas like doing work and stuff? One idea in particular that i like would be
Blogshop? Cause i kinda like the entrepreneur and stuff and i think its fun? but it seems impractical, but even so i still like the idea.
If people are interested maybe we can have a system or some sort?

Wassup everyone!!!!
I know it has been a long tiring day and the seniors have told us a-lot of things ( bad points). But i just want to say that instead of taking it like a bad thing we can take it in the best way we can. for example for those people who want to challenge the seniors that we can be better than them, we can take those comments into consideration and prove to them that we can be better than them by improving all those things that we have been commented on. For those who want to learn and want to change we can take it as our guideline and improve ourselves. And for those who have been losing passion can take it as a wake up call. It does not matter how we look at it as long as we learn from our mistakes and improve ourselves. I think the seniors have done us a great favor by telling us quite specifically what went wrong and how to improve them. For those of us who knew something was wrong and didn't know what to do I think this would really tell us what to do. so to sum things up these are some things that the seniors told us :
- Our standard as sec-3 student council must be brought up( we must not have double standards)
coz thats what the sec-1s will learn from us.
- Our discipline must be up to expectation
- we must interact with the sec-1s well
- we are suppose to find the problems and solve them ourselves if anything goes wrong
- we must distinguish ourselves in terms of authority and set the tone accordingly
- We must show respect towards seniors and the teachers and teach the sec 1s
most importantly we must regard every mistake as learning experience coz every mistake provide us with opportunity, opportunity to improve.
So I hope we will be able to do a better job tomorrow. Ahoy-set JIA YO!!!!!

Hi ahoyset:) please remember to pay $13 for the AGM, camp and batch fund to Iyadh and me next monday. but as for Amanda, Pei Ling, Beng Koon and Hua Chong,you'll only have to pay $2 for the batch fund as you've helped us pay for the AGM and the camp materials. so, the $13 that we'll be paying will be given to you.
I'm so sorry to say that the camp fund is not enough to return Beng Koon and Hua Chong.
