Guess tat u all should hav known tat i and sean are planning to quit student councillor right?firstly, i am sorry to have cause so much trouble to u all including agnes and hisyam so, i sincerely apologises to wat had happen hope u all can forgive us. Serious speaking, we have the same opinion which gave us the idea to have this thought of quiting, but we eventually decided not to quit till we have really solve the problem first after mr tan spoke to sean.
Perhaps i have already spoke to a few of our beloved batchmate about our troubles, we do wish to see any of us to have any grudges with one another, cause we really love u all as brothers and sisters which is another reason which give us the decision not to quit sc, it is u all who gave us the motivation to continue to have our lights litted in the student councillor and constantly brighten our day each day which i am very grateful of u all thank you.
I and sean, including those who have problems in the student councillor, would really loved to see this badge to be united as one walkin through all obstacles and solving the problems in our darkest moments. This is our final wish for our batch before we even think about quiting student councillor

Hello everyone! ^^As from what I observed this few days.. there's been quite some problems among our batchmates lately. It's not about the duties or whatever jobs, but the morale in our batch. It's like it's going to break apart anytime soon.. A few people had the same problem -- about someone, his/her attitude thingys.So, I was thinking perhaps we can have a gather once every week and we'll update on our morale, clear our misunderstandings towards each other. Basically just let everyone know how each and everyone of us feel, what we wanted to see improvement on his/her character.And say out how we feel about this particular person, it may seems like a threshing out session but not that much. Just let that person know how we felt towards him and what change we wanted to see.Like maybe for example..This person wants to quit..then he/she just let us know the rationalethen we'll give suggestions to improve on the reasons statedmeaning if he/she says "the unity isn't there" [for example]then we'll try to come up with solutions..Then maybe I'll note what you guys said, the problems you all mention and see if it can be improve on, or whether it has improve or not.Overall, a gather to update on each and everyone of our problems, feelings and character.So how do you guys think about this gather?All suggestions are welcomed! ^^Thanks alot,weijun.

Okay, the names which are RED in colour and BOLD + Italic means that the people will have the breaks first. Take the Monday’s hall people as example. There are Hua Chong, Wei Jun and Caroline. Hua Chong will have his recess first (which only last about 5-10min) when he finishes his break, he will go to the hall entrance and do his duty while caroline and wei jun have their recess (5-10min).This means that Caroline and Wei Jun would have to reach the place that they suppose to do their duty by 9.45am, latest is 9.50am.
Next, the patrollers. Yeah, I know all of us would not like to work for the whole week so I’m just using people who volunteered. But, they seem to work everyday so they deserve a clap (claps*). If you want to see your batch mates work so hard then let be it. But, if you don’t please sms me and tell me when would you be able to work.^^
Then, for those who are NOT DOING THEIR DUTY, will be put as ND beside the attendance meaning “Not doing Duty” (but this is only for those who come but just pose) and for the punishment (there will be no chances) is to write out a reflection that must be 100 words or more about:
-when you not doing duty
-why not doing
-who causes you not to do
-where are you when doing duty
-doing what at that time
-how are you going to solve the problem
-how you going to return the time that you waste by not doing it.
Hua Chong and I will base on what you all do and write down if you are doing your job. If you want to know why you all got marked as “ND” please find me or Hua Chong, we will explain to you.
Places to be: (please stay at these places to prevent being mark “ND”)
Hall – Sitting in front of the hall staircase (no other places…No sitting on side staircase)
Main – Standing at the Hall Entrance. (Please don’t walk around)
Red – Stand at the Red Service road (Notice the if anyone smuggle through the BB court.)
VC – Stand at the Volleyball Court .
If there are Sec 3s smuggling, stop them first, then ask them if they have teachers’ permission. If they have, let them off. ( If anyone have better suggestion please tell me..) If the Sec 2s or Sec 3s run away, rmb their name or face~ (see if there is any scar, mole or wadeva..)
Last but not least, have a happy canteen duty everyday~

also send to Beng koon and Steifan so that even if Hua chong somehow forget to send messege to beng koon and Steifan, they will still be informed by Agnes tan.

For the recess duty, there is currently a need for a few councillors to do patrolling duty. How many patrollers do you think we need and which areas do you think should be the places where the councillors should patrol. Also regarding to what AgnesL said, for those regular "customers", we should just report that to DM, as requested by Caroline, we should have a garbage bag for those people who wants to throw their drinks away. Then at the end of the duty, one "lucky" person will just throw the garbage in the bag away.Haha.
So Ideas are all welcomed.

Regarding the celebrations of birthday,
there are advantages and disadvantages for both months and terms.
i personally think that both are okay.
because as for months, we will be more busy buying presents and it will be difficult to choose a day which all of us are free to celebrate.
Is either we celebrate it in school, or outside if it is weekend.
(celebrate at last day/weeek of the month right?)
Cause if there is school, i believe that we will have CCA and so on.
Take me for eg, i'm only free on wed.
the advantage is that it will be more organise or sth?
As for terms, the birthdays people we have to handle is more.
and it will be very messy, (i think)
but the advantage is, it will be easier for us to choose dates.

On Monday before any meeting,can you guys stay back to go buy some materials for Sports Day?We will try to use recycled materials as much as we can because we only have $20 to spend.So far we only only need to buy yellow cloth(which I dont know how long) and loads of tapes to seal the cans for the percussions.I can provide the aluminium cans as for plastic bottles,try to collect some too.We also need alot of A4 sized paper to make pomspoms,lol.I will also provide the shredder machine.We shall stay back another day to do the Sports Day stuffs and then we can proceed to other stuffs.

Actually this post should be post by Agnes, but nevermind since she is not free. So, I will post for her then!
Okay, this is a suggestion from Agnes, J'me and sazzad. They pointed out that the people are smuggling foods before we start our canteen duty. As in they start to smuggle out in between of 9.45am-9.59am..So, let's solve the problem!
They suggest that since that there are more than 1 councillor in the post (main entrance, Red Service,Volleyball and hall). We can take turns on who to do the canteen duty earlier.
Ok..Let's take J'me and Fatt Rui for an example. They are both working on tuesday at the volleyball court. For the first week J'me will do it earlier (9.50am?) and Fatt Rui will do it at normal time given which is 10am. Then, the second week they can exchange, J'me (10am) Fatt Rui (9.50am.) and go on and on.
This is up to you to plan who will go earlier who will go later(remember to take turns and be FAIR!) but there must be someone earlier. Discuss it among
the people you are working with. ^^ Hope everyone have fun with their post!

So when are we actually starting the birthday celebration?I tried to summarise your ideas now.So some suggestions given:
If we celebrate by :
- 12 months to celebrate = More money needed (Probably)
Otherwise we can ownself bake a cake from cake mix which is cheaper.Whereas for birthday presents we can so-called design a hamper that comes with a set of stationaries, with _____.We have to set a budget for each person,has to be standard,Or else,it's not fair that the person get a better stuff than others.
-More presents to clear
-But easier because dont need to think over the celebration procedures or materials so much.
-Every term, there is a break or holiday.So we can make use of the holidays to chill and HAVE SOME FUN!
So what do you guys think?
I can bake the cake or personalised muffins for each birthday people.Personalised muffins means we can decorate for the birthday person.Then that particular muffin is for him/her.This is much more special,right?Then we can probably put a birthday candle on the muffin!
OK,so to summarise the cakey-thing
- There will be birthday cake.
- Special additional muffins(Flavours will be chosen by each birthday person.)
- Candle on top of the muffin.
- We can also bring out drinks and snacks.

I though of an idea to give presents during birthdays of ppl in the council. When a person's birthday is near, we can each give 4$ to steiphan n pile it upfor a birthday present for this certain somebody then we can choose to buy a big one like some branded thing or many small ones like wallet + pencil case + bag + water bottle etc. Yea and for those who's birthday has allready passed, Happy Belated Birthday presents. We can get a person to like go around with a list of ppl in out bath n ask them if they agree on what to buy Etc

Weishi here, and this is my first time posting on this wonderful blog, so .. =)
Anyways, I am posting the updated version of the communication system because we changed secretary last week, and there seems to be some confusion.
So here is the communication system.
Yi Xuan - Caroline & Septimo

Ok, so that is the communication system! ^^
And for the benefit of those who have not received the sms regarding the Discipline Check for tomorrow, here is the procedures for the DC.
Please be outside the NPCC room by 6.35 am, with FULL uniform. [Remember your badge!]
1. Line up in rows of 3, boys one side, girls another side
2. Make sure that for girls, hair is neatly clipped / tied, skirts and socks are of appropriate length. For boys, hair is short and neat, socks are of appropriate length. And everybody must remember to trim their fingernails!
3. Memorize the Oath and Code of Conduct by tonight! [If you do not know, refer to the column by the left!]
This is all.
And tomorrow is the house practice.
All student councillors are required to come up with cheers or use the original cheers and write it down for all the respective houses - Zhong, Qin, Cheng, Ai.
Then, pass it to Miss Grace Lim during the morning assembly.
And remember to meet Miss Grace Lim tomorrow at 3pm outside the hall, wearing full P.E attire!
Also remember to do your recess duty, otherwise you will have to write a 200 word essay! Hahas..
